VACPRO has been appointed the official partner for Edwards Polycold®Cryochillers and CTI-Cryogenics cryopumps in the UK and Denmark, extending its long-standing distribution partnership with Edwards Vacuum to cover the complete product portfolio.
Cryotechnology sits at the heart of high-vacuum performance. Water vapour alone makes up 65–95% of the residual gas in a typical high-vacuum system, and cryocondensation is the most effective way to deal with it. Polycold cryochillers can reduce pumpdown times by 25–75% and increase throughput by 20–100% on existing systems — typically delivering ROI in around a year. CTI-Cryogenics, meanwhile, is the global benchmark for cryogenic high-vacuum pumping in semiconductor manufacturing, vacuum coating, R&D and aerospace.
